Island Marathon Swim - this is a 48km annual event held
in New York which begins and ends at Battery Park. Read more about

English Channel - in
1993, Tammy attempted her first crossing of the Channel and set
the fastest time for the year. Her brother, John, also attempted
the Channel but, unfortunately, was taken from the water 4km away

Bass Strait - this
is one of the most treacherous pieces of water in the world, located
between Victoria and Tasmania, Australia. Read more about how Tammy

Cook Strait - located
in New Zealand between the North & South Islands, the Cook Strait
has the reputation of being the Southern Hemisphere's equivalent
of the English Channel. Situated on the "roaring forties"
fault line, the winds and tides play havoc with even the strongest

Loch Ness - the mystical
Loch is known to many of us, as is the legend of Nessie. Read how

Murray River - beginning
in the high country in Corryong, Victoria, the Murray River is Australia's
longest river system, a total of 2438km. Read how Tammy managed

Gippsland Lakes
- this is largest inland waterway system in the Southern Hemisphere.
